Kismaayo(INO)-Somalia’s regional state of Jubbaland has said it has cut all ties with Somalia central government.
The move came after Somalia Federal government today passed no –confidence motion against Jubba assembly.
“Jubbaland hereby suspends all cooperation and relations with Federal government of Somalia”, Jubba’s administration said in an official statement.
There was no immediate response from Somalia government.
Many analysts believe Jubbaland’s move is likely to create political mayhem in the country.
It was Sunday when State of Jubba President Ahmed Mohamed Islam threatened to cut ties with the government should the parliament go ahead and vote against his parliament administration.
