The federal parliament of Somalia has summoned the country’s prime minister Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke for questioning on the recent agreement with Puntland state over the electoral process.
The premier is expected to face the parliament on Saturday, with reports that he will answer questions on the forthcoming election to based on 4.5, the clan-power-sharing formula.
Confidential Sources at the parliamentary session reveal that a section of the parliament members are against the agreed electoral model, in which they say will not help Somalia move out of the political crises.
