Somalia’s independent constitution review committee chairwoman Maryan Arif Qasim has disclosed that the draft law is packed with errors, calling for correction.
She said the draft constitution went wrong during its foundation, therefore it needs much to be done for new amendment and correction before it goes to public referendum.
On the other hand, the independent constitution review committee chairwoman Maryan Arif Qasim recommended to reinstate the former constitution written in 1960s to overcome the current constitutional crises.
Recently, constitutional committee of the Somali parliament has unveiled plan to review and amend the draft constitution.
