The president of the federal republic of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said his country’s national army (SNA), along with AMISOM troops stepped up ‘the Ultimate Fight’ to defeat Al shabaab.
President Mohamud said his government will release details of the ongoing military operations aimed at wiping out Al shabaab in the coming few months before the presidential election.
“Al shabaab will be rooted out of the whole country by SNA and AMISOM in short time. They will no longer bother citizens in the areas under their control at all,” said Somali president.
On the other hand, Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has vehemently condemned the latest Al shabaab bomb attacks in Galkayo and Beledweyne town in central regions that left a dozen dead.
