Somali Federal government (SFG) and Regional States (RS) reached finally an agreement on coming elections after a summit in Mogadishu, Presidential Spokesman Daud Aweis told reports at Villa Somalia.
Somali leaders also concurred on elections time-table by forming two different committees with 28 members, according to statement by leaders.
Sources we get suggest National Electoral Committee with 17 members (5 from SFG and 4 others from RS) will apply national elections due on next September.
The other Regional Committee with 11 members (8 from RS and 3 from SFG) will serve as tool to pave the way for national elections, according to official statement.
