Somali security forces backed by African Union forces based in Baidoa town, south-western Somalia have launched a large-scale security operation in the town, On Tuesday Idale News Online Reports.
The security sweep saw troops conducting house-to-house operation aimed at apprehending suspecting culprits.
Security officials in the town told reporters on Tuesday that 50 men were arrested.
Al-shabab Group vowed more attacks targeting the Baidoa-based administration.
