Puntland accuses Federal Gov’t for arming Gal-Mudug militias

Puntland president Abdiwali Mohamed Ali who has returned from an official duty has alleged Federal Gov’t for fueling regional unrests in the long disputed region of Mudug.

Prior to his arrival in Bosaso, security has been beefed up as top security chiefs and cabinet members’ received him at the airport.

“With no mistakes Federal Gov’t is probably putting fuel on unrests in Mudug , Cadaado doesn’t. We don’t know how we can share political changes with an enemy who is eager to attack you on daily bases “ Gaas has told reporters  in Bosaso.

His arrival comes as tensions between Puntland and Gal-Mudug escalates in Gaalkacyo with renewed fighting erupted in the town on early Tuesday.
