Abdirahman Abdishakur, who is one of the Presidential candidate for 2016 Election has accused the federal government of Somalia for oppressing the Presidential aspirants running for president.
Abdishakur said he has been denied access to continue his election campaign in Mogadishu, and erect placards with his portraits on the streets of the capital.
“This is an apparent oppress ion on my campaign for the election, we want Somalia to hold free and fear election and give candidates rights to make their campaigns everywhere in the country,” he said.
The presidential hopeful Abdirahman Abdishakur added that most the candidates have announced their political campaigns outside the country due to lack of trust and oppression from the Somali government.
On the other hand, Abdirahman Abdishakur has welcomed the recent UN report saying those abused and destroyed local Private Medias in somalia, will be brought to justice and put them on trail as soon as possible.
