Muqdisho(NO)-Hundreds of tourists including local tourists visit Liido Beach on daily basis. These include the young and the old. Some go there to please themselves by watching the water and the waves, Idale News Online, Reports.
However, others go there to swim while others play football there at the beach. There are many others who visit there for many other different purposes. However, sometimes there happen painful incidents. On the 25th of this month, the dead body of a young woman was spotted there. Some of the sources say she was strangled or drowned into the sea water as there was no any physical injury on the body.
The body was spotted and collected by young people who went out to play at the beach. The body was kept at a hospital called Iqra at Hamarweyne District. However, so far, no one recognized the body.
One of the managing staff members of Iqra Hospital where the body was kept called for anyone whose relative woman is missing to come and try whether they can recognize the body there.
Yesterday, two students from SIU, a male and a female student drowned into the sea at Liido Beach as they were trying to swim.
