A member of Somalia’s federal parliament Dahir Amin Jesow has spoken about a leaked video showing NISA soldiers torturing a government official at a prison in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
The Somali lawmaker has called on the federal government to bring the alleged NISA soldiers who committed the torture against the prisoner to justice.
“We want the government to apply the justice and stand trail to the accused soldiers involved in the torture crime, or else it will assumed to be aware of the case,” said MP Jesow.
The social media has been hit by a leaked video clip illustrating a prisoner said to be an official serving with Yaqshid district administration being tortured by members of Somali National intelligence and security agency (NISA).
