Mogadisho(INO)- Member of parliament Omar Ali Nuur (Omar Furdug) and the Deputy Banadir Regional Commissioner of the Regional Political Dept. Mohamed Adan Guuleed (Ano Geel) were killed in an explosion at Mogadishu’s Central Hotel today.
Other persons were also wounded in the explosive attack. The bomb was planted in a mosque in the hotel where they were performing the Friday Prayers. Sources say, MP Abdulkadir Ali Omar is among the injured persons. Also, Salaad Ali Jeele who is a prominent Somali politician is said to have sustained a slight injury.
