ISIL militants kidnap Four men in north-east Somalia

Pro-Islamic state fighters are reported to have abducted four men after attack on a passenger bus near the seaside town of Qandala in Bari region, northeast of Somalia.

The ISIL fighters laid an ambush a bus transporting over 18 passengers, including off-duty Puntland state soldiers outside Qandala, located east of the commercial city of Bosaso.

Two Puntland soldiers kidnapped by ISIL militants managed to escape, sources said.

Puntland state forces retook Qandala coastal town of Bari region from ISIL On December 7 last year. ISIL seized the city in October, 2016 following deadly attack.
