Former Somalia’s constitutional affairs minister Abdirahman Hoosh Jibril has vehemently condemned NLF result, in which the country’s top leaders have expanded upper house seats.

Mr Jibril said the leaders have endorsed to increase the upper house seats without the consent of the public and subsequently have intentionally violated the country’s constitution.

He said NLF outcome and the expansion of the senatorial seats was aimed to serve for personnel interest, and contrary to the draft constitution which awaits public referendum.

On the other hand, the ex constitution minister has called for transparent, free and free election, urging the outgoing federal government leaders to fix the current electoral fraud.
