Former Somali MP Ahmed Du’alle Haaf has accused Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, the newly re-elected parliament of violating some articles in the country’s draft constitution.

Mr Haaf said speaker Jawari has allowed the Turkish-owned Favori LLC to run the airport services after the lawmakers of the 9th parliament unanimously rejected deal with the firm.

The outgoing MP said the  speaker of the new parliament  Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari mediated a no confidence motion against caretaker president Hassan Sheikh Mohamued.

“The new speaker of the 10th parliament has violated several articles in the constitution, including Favori agreement, the motion against president and handing parliament’s mandate to National leadership forum,” Mr Haaf added.

Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, who was re-elected as the speaker of the new parliament on Wednesday by 256 MPs in Mogadishu did not comment on the Ex MP’s accusations.
