Baidoa(INO)- Farah Sheikh Osman, a newly elected member of south west state assembly has announced his resignation in a press conference in Mogadishu Idale News Online, Reports On Wednesday.
Mr Osman disclosed that he took the decision to resign from the parliamentarian post after having seen injustice in the power-sharing bid of Baidoa-based south west state’s legislative body.
“The clan I represent withdrew confidence from south west state led by president Sharif Hassan due to the inequality of the power-sharing process,” said Mr Osman while speaking to reporters in Mogadishu.
Farah Sheikh Osman becomes the first legislator to leave his job since the lawmakers of south west state assembly was sworn in this week in Baidoa city, the provincial capital of Bay.
