Baraawe(INO)-Many camels were killed by crossfire after Alsbabaab ambushed AMISOM convoy near Barawe. Area residents told Idale News Online that AMISOM indiscriminately bombarded the place known as Fedada Qoorey, where livestock most of them camels died.
One of the owners of the camels who died told Idale News Online that AMISOM deliberately killed his camels. He said they killed three of his camels and wounded scores more.
“I was looking after my camels in that area where they fought. They killed three and wounded three others”. He said. Area residents were very angered by the incident and called AMISOM to compensate them. They said this is not the first time an incident like this happened in their locality.
Finally, Several months ago, AMISOM killed 20 heads of livestock in the same area.
