The leader of Al Qaeda Ayman al-Zawahiri has released a new video message praising Al Shabaab militants for their operations in the east Africa, especially in Somalia and Kenya.
In one-minute Video message, Ayman al-Zawahiri has applauded Al Shabaab for its fight against Somali National Army (SNA) and African Union mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
Continuing, the Al Qaeda Ayman al-Zawahiri urged Al Shabaab to fulfill its rebellious responsibility for defending Muslims in east Africa from what he called “Crusaders and apostates”.
Al-Zawahiri’s message comes weeks after the Al Shabaab militants carried out several deadly attacks in Mogadishu, Somali capital and in Kenya’s northeast.
