Tense of fight is reportedly building up in the central town of Abudwak following armed conflict between Galmudug militia and Ahlu Sunna Waljama forces.
Trouble is brewing up between Galmudug State and Ahlusuna after the both sides deployed a heavily armed contingent in the town, where forces from the two sides have both taken defensive positions.
Ahlu Sunna has deployed troops to Huursho, about 10Km away from Abudwak city in Galgaduud region, where they were amassing in the past few days in preparation for battle with Galmudug state forces.
The minister of constitution and reconciliation for Galmudug state administration has announced that they are making efforts to de-escalate the mounting tension in Abudwak, to end the clan rivalry.
