Latest reports on Somali National News Agency (SONNA) indicate that two suspects of the Al Qaeda linked group Al-Shabaab were on Thursday evening captured after Somali Police Forces conducted a special operation at a Mosque in Yakhshid district north Mogadishu.
Yakshid district Police Commander, Mohamed Yusuf Nor told SONNA that two men belonging to Al-Shabaab terrorist group were arrested and pistols and other weapons hid on the cliff tower of the Mosque recovered.
Mr. Yusuf thanked community members for volunteering information to the police that helped in apprehension of the two Shebab members.
