A remote-controlled land-mine struck a military escorting convoy carrying Ethiopian troops at Yurkud village, lies the border-line between Gedo and Bay region.
Al shabaab said in a report posted on its affiliated media outlets that a military vehicle was burnt in the bomb blast that tore through the convoy at the area.
AMISOM did not release a comment on the attack and the claim of Al shabaab.
