Inter-clan fighting is reportedly going on the fourth day in Somalia’s central town of Beledweyne, the provincial capital of Hiiraan as Death toll rises, reports said.
Idale News Online’s reporter in the city Osman Aden Arays says local residents at Howlwadag nighbourhood have woken up to the sounds of heavy gunfire exchanging by the rival warring sides.
And it’s uncertain how many people might be killed, although officials said in the past that they believed more than a dozen lost their lives in the renewed clan clashes.
The fighting broke out when militias from the Galje’el and Jajele sub-clans clashed on the west side of the town on Tuesday. It was reportedly triggered by a land dispute and revenge
