Reports reaching us from the coastal town of Marko indicate that two civilians were shot dead on Monday by unknown gunmen who fled the scene shortly after the shooting Monday Idale News Online Reports.
Confirming the incident, a witness said the slain civilians were working at a local bakery as employees and the motive behind their killing and the identities of the gunmen remain unclear.
The murder took place early on Monday at Bulo Jaan area in the heart of Marko, a coastal town lies 110Km south west of Somali capital, Mogadishu. The town fell to SNA and AMISOM in 2012.
Marko has been hit by violence and clan related killings since Somali troops, along with African Union forces captured the town from Al shabaab militants
