Deadly car bomb targeting traffic police headquarters has killed at least 4 people in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, witness said.
The explosion followed by heavy exchanges of gunfire after gunmen armed with AK-47 thought to be Al Shabab militants stormed inside and clashed with guards.
The attack also killed 2 attackers and a traffic police officer and a soldiers, according to witness who spoke to south west based independent station idalenews.com on the phone.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack but Al Shabaab militants carried out similar attacks in the past.
