Somali president H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said African Union mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops will finish off military operations against Al shabaab and defeat the militants in the battle-fields.
“AMISOM has been in Somalia for nearly a decade, and now they are in the final stage of eliminate Al shabaab from the whole country, with the support of SNA,” said Somali president.
Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has praised the latest gains against Al shabaab made by he Somali National Army is working closely with their AMISOM forces on the ground.
Finally, the president has asked the international community for financial help in the rebuilding of the country’s national army.
