Tuqara(INO)-The break away administration of Somaliland forces has taken the control of Tukaraq village, Puntland military’s main base in Sool region for a while.
The forces have entered the village today, seizing its control for some hours before Puntland forces entered the village according to Sahal News Agency reporter in the village.
The forces have reportedly been wandering in and around of the village for a close to three hours before withdrawing from in the afternoon.
One of Puntland’s mightiest military base lies at least 6-Km away from the village. Our reporter indicated that there was not confrontation between the neighboring administration’s forces.
Shortly after receiving the tip-off on the arrival of Somaliland forces, the neighboring Puntland military have moved in the village, retaking the control of the village.
The two relatively stable Somali administrations have fought sporadically in quest for the two disputed regions, Sool and Sanaag.
